The Lost & Foundation held a fund-raising concert on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Helena Colonial Hotel – Red Lion from 2 to 10 PM. Proceeds of the concert, exceeding $21,000, went to Claire Stone, a 17 year old student at Helena High School.
Claire received treatment for her second occurrence of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Despite undergoing chemotherapy last fall, she remained active in school. She participated as a cheerleader and was chosen Homecoming Queen of 2013. She graduated in 2014.
In January 2014, Claire entered the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance to begin testing for an autologous stem cell transplant (a transplant of her own stem cells). Her cancer proved resistant, though, leading to radiation treatment along with the stem-cell transplant.
