The Lost & Foundation held a fund-raising concert on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Helena Colonial Hotel – Red Lion from 2 to 10 p.m. Proceeds of the concert, exceeding $20,000, went to Koltin Tanniehill, then a 16-year-old student at Helena High School.
Since birth, Koltin Tanniehill has been battling seven heart defects. He has had multiple heart operations, including two open-heart surgeries. In September 2013, another surgery in Salt Lake City revealed two new problems requiring further treatment and possible surgery.
Koltin’s father, Senior Officer Roy Tanniehill, is the Resource Officer at Helena Housing Authority. The family includes three children and three foster children.
