To help Conrad and Lauren Addison, Lost & Foundation held a benefit concert on October 23, 2016. Several hundred people attended, many for the first time at a Lost & Foundation event. With their help (and many others who could not attend) the event raised stands more than $175,000! Please note our sponsors listed below.
Carroll Graduate Conrad Addison, 27, was mountain biking in Bellingham, WA on May 29, 2016, when he had a biking accident and suffered neck and spinal cord injuries. The accident left him a quadriplegic, although he has regained some movement in his arms.
Conrad was almost finished with Medical School and about to start residency. He and his wife Lauren had a modest cumulative income last year. As a medical student, Conrad had no income. Lauren had just started a new job as a Nurse Practitioner in Great Falls and commuted back and forth from Helena to Great Falls.
Conrad has insurance, but we don’t know the extent of the financial impact. Wheelchair, vehicle for a wheelchair, outpatient rehab, travel, bed, and family support and transportation to Seattle from Montana are certain expenses. The total financial impact is substantial.
